I initially went to her salon because she said she could accommodate a hijabi client (where no men can see me without my headscarf) and she had a room divider ready for me to use during my haircut. This made me feel comfortable.

She recommended I get layers which I never had before. Previous hairdressers always said my hair was too thin for layers. Soni proved them wrong. Now I flaunt my layered haircut every chance I get. It looks great. Soni has good taste, and her confidence in her skills gave me the willingness to try layers.

“Went in for my first pedicure and manicure after stopping biting my nails. I almost fell asleep in the chair during the pedicure. The woman was so gentle and extremely thorough. Brought me water when I got a dry cough, made sure the massage chair was on. She done an absolutely perfect job of my french tips, free handed perfection. My hands and feet have never looked so good, or felt so smooth and hydrated.

Prices were so reasonable too, there's an atm on site. It smells and looks really clean and the mild spa music is perfect. I also love that the windows are privacy windows so people on the street can't look in“

I had a redo haircut after having gone previously to the Byward location. Hair Republic management was surprisingly kind and took initiative to reach out to me to fix my hair at their other salon location. I was quite hesitant but happy I took a chance at the Bank st location. Fatema was amazing and was able to correct the haircut. She has expert skills and technique, which I appreciate. She was also honest and knowledgeable with her advice on hair, which I value.
Thanks to the management for having great customer service. This is my second review on google ever so it’s positive if I took my time to write this.
