I was blessed to come across this amazing hairdresser (Dory). Back then, he had a small but quaint Salon in Gatineau, close to my house. One Saturday, I drove by, told myself, oh a new hairdresser. I turned my car around, I was in great need of a haircut, new colour, something (after not going to a hairdresser for 3 years due to covid). So I walked in, he greeted me with a big smile. I told him I was scared of hairdresser, that I never found one that did a haircut that I liked, he reassured me and told me he guaranteed I would love it, so I asked if he had time to cut my hair, he said of course and my hairdresser love story started after that amazing new Doo. When he was all done, I didn’t cry, I didn’t have to run home to wet my hair due to an ugly hairstyle. Instead, I was amazed, excited… I couldn’t believe my luck. The BEST hairdresser I ever found. When I wanted to go back a while later, that little place was empty, I panicked, searched through my phone for his number to see where the heck he was at (lol), he told me had moved his salon to Ottawa, 45 min away from my house, I freaked a little but I told myself, I need to follow him wherever he goes (within a reasonable distance lol) so off I went to Alta Vista in Ottawa and I’ve been driving over there ever since. He’s the same caliber as a High End NY city hairdresser without the $$ attached to it. To try him is to adopt him. Please book an appointment with Dory and I promise you won’t regret it.
