“I’ve consistently had great experiences here for minor repairs, and the quality of the work is always solid.

However, I'm knocking off a star due to confusion around payment policies. On my first couple of visits, credit cards were accepted without issue, but on my third visit I was told debit only. The conversation went back and forth for a bit before it was ultimately resolved, which made the situation frustrating.

I completely understand that small businesses have to manage processing fees - that’s not the issue. Posting payment policies clearly where customers can see them would help set expectations. Sometimes credit is the only way someone is able to pay, and if there’s a surcharge to offset fees, that would be perfectly reasonable as long as it’s communicated in advance.“

At the end of September, I took some pants to be shortened at Stitch It in the Rideau Centre, they charged me $19.97.
