Dr Hung is amazing with my fearful dog! She booked us in for a double appointment so that she could take extra time with him and gave him lots of treats to earn his trust. Every time I visit this hospital the receptionists are so friendly and they open the door for me when they see me coming with my cat in the carrier. I’m very picky with where I take my fur-babies and would recommend this hospital to anyone who’s looking for a new vet.

The price is insane but Dr Hung makes it all worth it!
I can’t speak highly enough about Dr Hung. When I first came with my family, it was clear that I was in the hands of not only a skilled professional but also a genuinely compassionate human being.
What stood out most was the level of care and attention I received. Dr Hung went above and beyond to make sure we felt informed, comfortable, and supported throughout the treatment.
It’s rare to find a doctor who combines such thorough medical expertise with kindness and empathy. I feel extremely lucky to have found Dr Hung and I would recommend her without hesitation to anyone looking for a doctor who truly cares.

I came in with my cousin to bring their dog to the clinic and had a great experience. Dr. Hung was gentle, professional, and very caring with the dog. You can tell she really loves animals. The whole visit was smooth, and the staff was friendly too. Highly recommend!

We are truly grateful to every single staff member at the hospital for their dedication and patience in caring for our dog!! Our pup had a Giardia infection, which required frequent check-ups and testing. Each time we encountered a new issue, big or small, the entire team went above and beyond to help and support us. I honestly can’t think of another hospital with such an amazing team that offers not only professional care but also genuine warmth and kindness to both pets and their owners.

Dr. Karen Hung is an incredibly professional and compassionate vet. Every time our dog felt unwell, she provided clear and detailed treatment plans, along with practical follow-up care instructions we could manage at home. She was also thoughtful and attentive to our emotional needs, always considering both the pet and the owner’s well-being. Our dog had a Giardia parasite infection, which is notoriously difficult to eliminate, but thanks to Dr. Karen’s expertise, we were able to overcome it in a very short time. Our dog absolutely adores her, as if he knows it was Dr. Karen who helped him recover. 😂 We are truly grateful to have found such an outstanding vet!!
Jamie, the vet assistant, is both skilled and responsible. When our dog developed an ear infection and needed an exam, our dog was extremely sensitive and restless. Jamie always treated him with great care and gentleness, helping him feel calm and safe throughout the process.
Everyone in the client care team, especially Tina and Maria always greeted us with bright smiles! Our dog often refuses to step on the scale, but they consistently guided him with patience, gentleness, and kindness. They took every concern seriously and were always quick to help us. We really appreciate everything they’ve done!
Tracy and Freddy are always so warm and helpful whenever they see our pup. When he had his ear infection and giardia, they assisted with the ear cleaning process with the utmost professionalism and attention to detail.

Dr. Hung is one of the most compassionate and professional veterinarians you’ll ever meet! My whole family takes all our cats to Willowdale to see Dr. Hung- from routine checkups and preventative care to medical concerns, Dr. Hung is very knowledgeable and makes sure everything is explained clearly to owners. She treats our pets with genuine kindness, and always follows up to make sure they’re doing well. Dr. Hung truly cares about her patients and always goes above and beyond!
The supporting staff are also fantastic! Every time we visit, we’re treated with warmth, respect, and kindness. I’m truly grateful to all the technicians, assistants, and receptionists who have helped give my cats the best experience possible!

Should have listened to all the bad reviews before taking my puppy here. PSA, if your vet is Tezel, take your puppy elsewhere NOW, our puppy was with her for 2 years and I can’t even begin describing the bad advice and mannerisms she displayed. She made us spay our puppy at 9 months old impacting her bone, joint and overall growth. We are with a different vet now and the difference in expertise is night and day. We stopped coming here over a year ago and we are so happy we made this decision; I don’t like to leave bad reviewed but I think it’s worth warning other dog owners.

After over six years of bringing my cat Nutmeg to this clinic, I had the most distressing and unprofessional experience during her recent annual vaccine visit. We were unable to see her usual veterinarian, who had previously noted that Nutmeg no longer required a sedative. I had still ordered one as a precaution but was unable to pick it up—this was communicated in advance to the assistant.
At the clinic, the assistant barely acknowledged us, appeared preoccupied with regular clients, and treated us like an inconvenience. She insisted I wear a mask, despite no one else in the clinic being required to do so—an inconsistent and unfair application of policy. The attending veterinarian seemed rushed, cold, and dismissive. I was asked a couple of consent questions, but the rest of the visit was dominated by yelling from the exam area. I was then told not to bring Nutmeg in “like this” again—as if her fear somehow disqualified her from compassionate care.
Nutmeg left visibly traumatized—she urinated and defecated in her carrier and required a full wash when we returned home. Days later, she is still shaking and stressed. I followed up by phone to request the names of the staff involved for a formal complaint, but was met with the same cold and unprofessional attitude.
We will not be returning. If you are not one of their “regular” clients, do not expect to be treated with basic courtesy—nor should your pet expect the care they deserve.
