“I noticed the paint on the ceiling and walls at my back door were rippled in spots. It was mid-December, and we just finished our first snow fall, and the snow had melted.Standing on the road, and looking on the west side on the roof, spots looked crumpled.I called a few roofing companies through Homestars, but many staff had left for Christmas break.I had GCH respond to my dilemma. Not only did GCH answer my call, but Admin. came to my aid, as their staff were also on holiday. I guess he took pity on me. :)I was most pleased with his knowledge of roofing, and he even took the time to show me that the west side of the roof was missing the underlay tar paper, and whole sheets of shingles were just waving to me in the wind.Not only did he fix the trouble spots, he had to go to Home Depot for another pack of shingles ! “Hi Kevin,It was great to see you again at the National Home Show and be able to thank you once again for an amazing roof.After almost 5 years, the roof still looks like the day it was installed.I really appreciate that we were able to work together to make the radiant barrier a reality.In having a vaulted ceiling, and hence no attic, I had great difficulty cooling my house in the winter and suffered severe ice damming on my gutters in the winter.The first day of installation saw the radiant barrier installed. Even without the benefit of the steel roof to be installed the following day, the house was already significantly more comfortable.After the steel roof was installed on the second day, the house was even more comfortable. In fact, we notice that while many air conditioning systems in my neighbourhood continue to run nonstop in the summer, our air conditioning system can now sit idle and yet still have the house be more comfortable than it has ever been.More than that, in the winter I was very happy to see that my ice damming issues were completely resolved.Over the past five years we've had some significant weather events.The roof withstood all of it beautifully and still looks like it was installed yesterday.I'm very confident I'll still be able to say that again after year 15.Thank you again for a great roof.In seeing and chatting with you at the National Home Show, I was reminded anew of how great it was to work with you and definitely wanted to take the time to let you know.John Ahsmann.“
