NOTE: This is a review for GOLDEN CASTLE, not Onyx.I stopped in at this "mom & pop" unisex salon without an appointment and was taken in right away. The atmosphere is underwhelming but the service was very satisfactory. My hair is the longest it's ever been so I didn't want to lose that but—you know, pandemic hair—it needed a refresh after no haircuts for geez ... over three years for me. Despite a tiny bit of a language barrier (his son was on hand to interpret) Baram was very attentive and is the first stylist to take me seriously when I say "cut as little as possible." IF I had to recommend a hairstylist in london Ontario.. that would be Linda, the owner of onyx salon. She brings years of professional experience and practice. She really knows all when it comes to hair.It was my first appointment at Onyx today with linda. I got a haircut and highlights. LINDA.. Nailed it..Couldn't be more happier with the results. highlights well blended with beautiful dimension. I LOVE IT..Thank you again for this amazing experience.?

I had a great experience here. Great colour, cut & style. After consulting with the stylists I went with a totally different colour than I had wanted & I'm really happy I did. I appreciate the stylists advice, it's their job. I will definitely come back here.
