“This has been the only hair studio I’ve used for the last 7 years and I don’t see myself changing. The owner always snatches me up immediately so the wait time is only minutes, sometimes seconds for a walk-in cut. The other employees maintain consistency with the quality of haircuts I get here so I’m comfortable if any of them put me in their chair. And now I take my son here and he says he’s had his best and favourite haircuts from this place. If I could give 10 stars, I would!“

Golden Fingers Barbershop is easily one of the best barbershops in the city. It’s well known among locals and students, especially since it’s conveniently located right across from Fanshawe College main campus.

The shop is run by three gentlemen—George, Sunny, and another experienced barber—who all take customer service seriously and clearly take pride in their craft. Every haircut feels like a piece of art. They listen carefully to what you want, offer helpful suggestions when asked, and consistently deliver clean, precise results. Their fades are especially top-tier.

What stands out right away is how welcoming they are. From the moment you walk in, you’re treated with respect and genuine care. They go above and beyond to make sure every client leaves satisfied—and if something isn’t perfect, they’ll fix it without hesitation.

Pricing is another big win. Haircuts and beard trims are very reasonable, and even their in-store products (like hair wax and beard items) are fairly priced. I’ve paid way more for similar products at other shops, so that’s a refreshing change.

As someone who’s tried multiple well-known barbershops in London—and even higher-end spots in places like Mississauga—I can honestly say none have matched the consistency, service, and quality I’ve found here. I’ve seen uneven cuts and poor service elsewhere, but that’s not something you’ll experience at Golden Fingers.
