I love Big Al's. You can chat with an African Grey, hang out with any number of fish, and impulse buy a crinkle ball for your cats. And the staff just tolerate it!editing to add: Mike in the aquarium section is such a nice guy. He is so kind, and interesting to talk to.

They do good work. Good variety and very knowledgeable staff. Definitely a superstore. Perhaps could be a bit friendlier and tolerant in fielding newbie questions. Otherwise they are great.

Excellent customer service and knowledgeable staff. I am a beginner in salt water fish tanks and asked a million questions. I was paired with the right equipment and recommendations for types and quantities of fish when the tank is ready for them. They also have a separate area for birds, and other pets,but I was there for the fish. If in the area stop in. The selection is great and the staff are excellent. It's a 45-minute drive for me, but it will be my go-to place. Highly recommend.
