“We , in Ottawa, had a flood in our home, from upstairs to downstairs, no one fault but it is hard to believe it happened to you , house in impeccable condition. Our house insurance offered First General of Eastern Ontario, to take care of this and certainly they really did. There is Luis, the “ conductor” that starts the assessment, lines up the order of jobs, brings the trades in sequence and job it is done. All trades involved, excellent work, very good communication, in time and very polite, all coordinated by First General, I spoke to them only once at starting, the rest was smooth on the wheels and house looks like nothing happened. Hope no one will need them, but if you do it is First General , highly recommended“

I had the misfortune of dealing with an unexpected water incident within my personal residence. This resulted in the call for assistance that ultimately lead me to having the Belfor Restoration Team attend to my request for aid.

I consider myself fortunate, during the times of misfortune.

A special thank you to the following personnel of Belfors Team Members. Tom, Collin, Perry, Matt, Pap, Chanika, Curtis and of course, anyone else whom may have attended.

The response time to the initial call out was timely and during the evening hours of a Sunday. This lead to immediate prevention of further damage and was appreciated. It was. It long before a project manager was assigned (Curtis - who was easy to converse with and was able to provide the anticipated steps for the recovery process, including working with insurance).

I was always kept in the loop by Belfor for required attendance, next steps and timeliness of each sequence. Each visit, they were mindful, polite and professional.

It must be noted that my concerns were promptly responded to by the project Manager (Curtis).

I appreciate the hard work and dedication of the team. My home is now complete and I couldn't be happier.
