A few Weeks ago my wife went down to the basement to put something down there. Now, our basement is not an area that we visit very frequently. I keep a lot of my guitars and amplifiers and keyboards down there, on the rare occasion I feel like being musical. So it had probably been a week or two since we last visited the basement. Now, basements in Oklahoma are very rare due to a very high water table. Knowing this, A sump pump was built in to the floor in the basement underneath the stairs.
