I finally stopped by Paragon Barber Shop in Bartlesville and honestly wish I had gone sooner. The shop is in a super convenient spot in town and easy to get in and out of without fighting traffic or hunting for parking. You can tell right away it’s the kind of local business that actually cares about the people walking through the door instead of trying to rush everyone through like a chain place.
One of the biggest things for me was there was basically no wait. I walked in expecting to sit around for a while, but they got me taken care of quick without making the haircut feel rushed. That balance is hard to find. Usually it’s either a long wait for somebody good or you get rushed through in 10 minutes and leave disappointed. This was neither.
I explained exactly how I wanted my haircut and beard trim, and they nailed it the first time. I’m picky about beard trims because a lot of places either take too much off or leave it uneven, but they listened to what I wanted instead of just doing whatever they thought looked best. Same thing with the haircut. I didn’t have to keep correcting things or explaining it three different ways. They paid attention to detail and actually cared about getting it right. That matters more than anything to me.
The shop itself was really clean too. Chairs, mirrors, floors, everything looked well kept and professional. You can tell they take pride in the place. The atmosphere was relaxed without feeling awkward or overly loud. Everybody was friendly and easy to talk to, which makes a big difference when you’re sitting in a chair for a while. Nobody acted fake or forced. Just good people running a good business.
As somebody who owns a small business myself, I always notice when entrepreneurs genuinely put effort into what they’re building. You can tell Paragon Barber Shop wasn’t thrown together just to make money. There’s pride behind it. Small businesses like this are what keep towns like Bartlesville going. It’s easy to support local when the service is this solid.
Overall, great experience from start to finish. No wait, clean shop, friendly people, and they did exactly what I asked for on both the haircut and beard trim. I have not had a Primary Care Provider in years and Erin Ashley was fantastic and very thorough. She got to the root of my issues instead of fixing the symptoms. The staff was very welcoming and got me seen quickly.

I make an appointment each time with Sandy at Kim’s nails. She is attentive to my sensitive nail beds and always spends time making my pedicure relaxing and ensuring I love my nails before leaving the salon. I frequently get compliments on my nails and recommend Kim’s nails.

It’s like a getaway in the middle of town. Co-owner Joanne has been my stylist for years. She takes genuine interest in her clients. I schedule monthly color maintenance (highlights, lowlights, touch-up ETC), hair cuts, styling… Plus every now & then Brazilian Blowout treatments. Great work by Mason's Plumbing to repair a toilet leak. We've used Mason's several times over the years and their plumbers are always top notch. They know their stuff and they do it well! We always go back to Mason's Plumbing for any plumbing need!
On Thanksgiving morning we woke up to sewer flowing out of a shower drain whenever anybody flushed the toilet. We had a house full of guests for Thanksgiving. At 6:30 AM on Thanksgiving I called this Roto Rooter Service Company And Thomas answered the phone and said he would get around and be right over. That’s exactly what he did and he had our sewer line unplugged in a timely manner. Because it was an emergency call on a holiday I thought it was going to cost a lot of money, but the invoice was very reasonable! I highly recommend this company!

We would highly recommend these guys. We needed a mold inspection done to rule out as an option to figure out why my husband and I have been sick with respiratory issues for a couple months straight, and Taylor was kind and clear about pricing and their process. Nick was very thorough and paid great attention to detail on our inspection. Communication was clear on what to expect and what next steps are. He showed up on time and was very respectful. We’ve moved around quite a bit and I have to say this dentist and staff are exceptional. My daughter was visiting from out of town and they found a way to fit her in with their fully booked schedule, on a holiday week. We drive an hour to see Dr. Armstrong for our check ups and visits. He’s professional, so is his staff and office personnel. Their prices are reasonable and they take our insurance.

He and his staff were very professional, informative, and made sure we knew all our options. We traveled 3 hours in hopes of getting our daughter the best care, and Safari Smiles exceeded our expectations.

Very compassionate staff. Treated my dog like an actual patient in the room and not just an object to diagnose. He is feeling much better and I will be bringing all of my animals back. They worked with me on pricing and made sure I could get my old man better.
We took our 14 year old dog to be put down and this vet was amazing. She was so kind during the whole process,she just really explained everything well and she gave us all the time we needed to be with our precious boy. We are so Thankful for this office and the amazing veterinarian we had.
Took our cat here for what we thought was a respiratory issue, turns out she has heart failure. The vet was very kind and explained our options and what meds to give her. The price for everything was very reasonable.

For the occasional baths in between grooming, I have found a wonderful place in Wash-A-Mutt. Scheduling was easy. The facility was very clean, and owners were lovely. Their dog dryer is excellent, so it made the task easy and fast. Thank you!
I have a black ChowChow and Sandra did an amazing job with him. Chows must be cleaned a certain way and dried properly, neither of which commonly occur, even at vet clinics. She made me feel welcome to stay and watch if I wanted and answered any questions I had. After I was confident in her, I left and we were genuinely impressed with the results when she was done. I started taking my dogs here a couple years ago. They love daycare and the couple times I have used them for boarding, I've been really happy with the care my dogs received. When one of my dogs had cancer and had a leaky seroma they still let him come to daycare, and were great with him. They really helped me make his last year a happy one, and I am immensely grateful.
