“Before it was Auble-Gillman in Rittman, Ohio it was the well established Gillman Funeral Home and served the Shook family for decades with their funeral needs, so returning to them was desired. Losing my wife Lisa I decided to have her laid to rest in Rittman where she was raised and I am to join her when my time arrives. Making this happen was not easy being that we reside in Oregon, and there were some coordination issues that needed to be overcome. That is where Kelly Gillman Thomas stepped in and took control on the funeral arangements and stayed in constant contact with me, helping smooth out the difficulties and putting my concerns to ease. Along with the assistance of staff members Jordan and Ashley the funeral arrangements by Kelly came together very well allowing me to grieve the loss of my wife at my most vulnerable period of life. Before my time arrives and I join my wife I hope to be able to pre-plan the arrangements for myself with Kelly, Jordan and Ashley to put the plans into place
for peace of mind.”
