“After searching for a new local eye doctor I came across Great Lakes Eyecare that had excellent reviews and also great rates/copays with my insurance. I had a wonderful experience today meeting all of the staff and Dr. Jenna Bayer for an eye exam. They were all very thorough and kind. I felt very at home and at ease being I was nervous that I had not been to an optometrist for 5 years since my last exam. Dr. Bayer will be highly recommended to all of my friends and coworkers. She was extremely knowledgeable and down to earth. Then Tara helped me pick out my frames and lenses and even took the time to help me figure out how to make the most of my insurance benefits. “The doctor gives a thorough exam and does a good job of explaining and answering questions. He also does the measuring for new glasses. It took about a week for the new glasses to come in. Everything was fine with them. You may get out cheaper at a chain store, but maybe not as thorough of a job. I'll be back.“
