“I went to Healthy Core initially for tendonitis in my elbow that I’d been dealing with for about six months. It all started with yardwork last spring - putting out 6 tons of river rock and 8 yards of mulch over a week, immediately followed by a trip to Ireland to get a fallen tree off the roof of the cottage I grew up. Several days of heavy lifting and work with a chainsaw with already sore back and arms.

When I returned to Ohio, I was in a lot of pain but I just lived with it. It impacted my sports and other activities. Every couple weeks my wife would tell me she'd make me an appointment at Healthy Core but I kept putting it off. Finally, I was so miserable I stopped being a stubborn Irishman and went. My wife was right - write it down.

What surprised me was how thorough they were from the start. We talked through what was going on with my arm, and during the conversation I mentioned that my hips were also incredibly tight. I honestly didn’t even know dry needling could even be used on hips. The results that first day were fantastic - both for my tendonitis and my hips.

I saw them once a week for 4 weeks, and the results were dramatic.

I’ve been going back every couple of weeks to keep things in check. It has been a game changer for me and it has made a huge difference in my comfort and being able to stay active.
