“A few years ago I hurt my back helping a friend move. I went to a chiropractor near where I live and paid $$$ for an evaluation, including xrays. He put me on a program of micro-adjustments every two days. At the end of the week, I was still in excruciating pain and I realized my pain relief was secondary to the doctor's income. I mentioned this to my brother, who had been happily using Dr. Huffman for quite a while. So I made an appointment and drove 45 minutes to see her.
What a refreshing experience! Her diagnosis was to watch me walk and run her hand down my spine! She then took her time to explain to me the details of what I'd done to my back. Next came the old-school adjustment and my pain was reduced to a fraction of what it had been. Then she took more time to show me exercises and stretches to make sure it didn't happen again.
A week later I had a follow-up appointment, which completely resolved my back issue. I took her exercise suggestion seriously and have not needed to go back for a back adjustment.
Dr. Huffman is more than a chiropractor. She is also well informed about nutrition and supplements and I've asked her for advice many times. She has *always* put my well-being ahead of profits, and I consider her one of my true health partners.“
