Based on the reviews, Dr. Benjamin L. Mccalip, MD, is a great doctor who performs fine needle aspirations and thyroid biopsies. He is absolutely fantastic, very professional, and the best of the best. Dr. Mccalip takes the time to explain everything in a way patients can understand and explains every step. He has a phenomenal bedside manner and makes patients feel very comfortable by letting them know what he is doing. The biopsies are not painful at all, and there is no pain. Patients love how they get results the same day, receiving a preliminary diagnosis in as little as 35 minutes from checking in. The staff is great and very nice. The new location feels more welcoming, and the setting is very pleasant and comfortable. Dr. Mccalip is highly recommended.

I cannot say enough about Dr. Mccalip and his amazing staff to match! I have been telling everyone I know about him! He spent so much time with me, he completely understood my anxiety and my situation. I cannot thank him and his staff enough!
Dr McCalip did a FNA on thyroid nodule on me. I would never go to anyone else for one, but him. It was painless except for a couple of seconds to inject the numbing medication in and that wasn't even bad. No pain afterward and I can't even see where he did it. He looks at results while you wait because he is the pathologist. He's kind and knowledgeable!
