Dayton Arthritis and Allergy Center provides excellent treatment with compassionate and professional physicians, NPs, and PAs. Patients describe the doctors as absolutely excellent, compassionate, professional, and extremely competent. Dr. Mott and his NP are great, concerned, and answer questions, working to find the right medication for pain control. Dr. Aliya Khan is one of the best doctors, professional, compassionate, and committed to keeping patients healthy. Dr. Steven is very knowledgeable and ran tests to figure out medical issues. The office staff is knowledgeable, warm, friendly, professional, and awesome. They remember medical history, go over everything, and check bones and joints for swelling, stiffness, and inflammation. The office communicates well with patients and other doctors to insure great care. Patients did not have to wait and were taken back soon as appointment time. The office is nice and clean. For those needing a Rheumatologist, everyone is very nice and ready to help. One patient has been going since 1978 and credits the staff as one of the reasons they can still walk. Patients would highly recommend this office and strongly encourage potential patients to know they are receiving excellent treatment.
Doctor is always rushed; and he doesn't actually listen well. Ultrasound tech before I even spoke, was EXTREMELY rude and had a very bad attitude. Responses to email are slow if you get an answer at all. He kept pushing drugs that made me feel far worse than I did before I started going to him. Over the course of the 2+ years I saw him, we tried a plethora of extremely expensive drugs that required special handling from a specific company. When I attempted to voice my concerns and frustrations, he just became completely rude and unbearable. I quit seeing him and will never return to anyone in that clinic. I have read the recent negative reviews, but my experience has been completely different. I have been seeing the physicians and providers in this practice for several years and I have never had a negative experience. As a nurse practitioner for many years in the Dayton area, I can understand that sometimes nursing and reception staff can project unprofessional behaviors and attitudes towards patients and their families . Unfortunately, this is a reality, and when it occurs, it needs to be corrected. In my recent experience, these unprofessional behaviors have been addressed and corrected. Dr. Mott and his Np were great. I was told I was a complicated patient because I have certain medical issues that makes it hard to be treated. After consulting with a Dr. friend who is an Endocrinologist they found the right medicine for me. I start my monthly injections next week and have to go once a month for a year. After that I'm hoping my bones will be stronger so I can have my much needed back surgery. I'm keeping my fingers crossed 🤞. If you need a Rheumatologist, I would recommend this office. Everyone is very nice and ready to help. I went for my 1st injections for osteoporosis and it went great. Had no problems and looking forward to the next 11 months...read full review
