I may be biased, but I absolutely adore TPDT. Anthony, Andrea, Paige and Jess are top tier trainers - they all take a patient approach, explain things in great detail, and truly care about the relationship between you and your dog. I have personally used the boarding for my whole crew over a holiday, and daycare numerous times and my dogs love it. I cannot recommend TPDT enough. If you are in Cleveland (or even remotely in the area) they are the best when it comes to training, pack walks, daycare, and boarding.
My husband and I recently rescued our dog, June, and honestly had no idea what we were getting into. Neither of us had owned a dog as adults, and we felt totally overwhelmed at first. We were referred to Turning Point and are so grateful we were. Andrea and June clicked right away, which made the whole experience feel easy and stress-free. June got great training, and we learned just as much. Andrea gave us practical tools and guidance to better understand June’s needs and helped us become confident, happy dog parents. We can’t recommend Turning Point enough!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ An Extraordinary Experience at Turning Point Dog Training I recently boarded my two dogs—Mojito, my 4-year-old Pitt, and Bella, my 2-year-old Cane Corso—at Turning Point Dog Training for a two-night stay while we traveled to New York to pick up our new puppy. Mojito had previously completed training there, but this was Bella’s first experience, and I was admittedly nervous. Bella has special needs, including hip dysplasia and neurological challenges, so finding a facility that would treat her with understanding, compassion, and attentiveness was incredibly important to me. From start to finish, Turning Point exceeded every expectation. They administered both dogs’ medications exactly as instructed and were wonderfully mindful of Bella’s physical limitations. They encouraged her to play and even let her enjoy running in the snow, all while closely monitoring her activity level and duration to keep her safe and comfortable. Mojito’s dietary restrictions and medications were also handled carefully, and I appreciated that they maintained consistency with the training she’d already received there. Communication was exceptional from the very first inquiry through the entire booking process. Every question I asked—no matter how “extra” I felt—was met with patience, clarity, and the reassurance that my dogs’ unique needs were not a burden. Drop-off and pick-up were easy, friendly, and comforting. All of their belongings were returned, and it was clear the staff truly cared; they even checked in about Mojito’s prior training to ensure they stayed aligned with her program. Most importantly, my dogs came home happy and tired—a sure sign that they were not simply left in a kennel all day. They were exercised, mentally stimulated, and treated like family. Not every facility feels confident caring for Pitties or Corsos, but at Turning Point I never felt judged or uneasy. Quite the opposite: my dogs were welcomed wholeheartedly, and the staff demonstrated confidence, knowledge, and genuine affection for both breeds. Pricing was reasonable, and having the option to use Afterpay made the stay even more manageable. I can’t express enough how grateful I am to the team at Turning Point Dog Training. Leaving my dogs—especially one with special needs—is never easy, but they made the entire experience stress-free, transparent, and overwhelmingly positive. I will absolutely continue trusting them with the care and well-being of my pups. Highly, highly recommended!
