UC Psychiatry needs to work on getting better front desk support. Their support staff are curt and rude and impatient. This is not a good mix for a psychiatry /psychology office. They make it challenging to make appointments and are not nice and you feel rushed. Why is it so hard to find pleasant people friendly front desk support staff anymore? They act so put out and irritable. I feel like I am a pain for them to deal with. Gods I am just trying to make an appointment.

So I went here and was seeing a physician assistant named Matt Whitaker. I was seeing him bc all Dr's were 6 months out. I guess I should have waited for a DR. This Matt guy cuts me off my medication I been taking for years and discharged me from the practice without calling me. If I didn't have my chart I would not have known my appointment was canceled and that he discharged me. This guy discriminates and trys to push medication that you wouldn't want to take. I had a urine test and it came back as a false positive and he was saying there was no way this could have happened and assumed I was taking something I never heard before ever! Dr Keller told my husband to call and get app if UC didn't call. We have tried for two days to get an appt. Recording say they check recordings twice daily, but still no call for appt . We have been home waiting for a call. Why is it so hard-to-get get a appt? Are you short on help. Thank you Fred Adamkiewicz . The doctors are great no complaint there.
