About Recovery Center of Hamilton County
Recovery Center of Hamilton County is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping individuals with mental illness live more meaningful lives in the community. It offers a holistic approach, focusing on recovery education, physical wellness, creative expression, job readiness, and personal growth. The center provides a safe space for healing, where people can develop skills, learn mindful techniques, and improve their mental health. Many clients appreciate the supportive environment, where they have made good friends and no longer isolate themselves. The center also encourages creativity and community involvement, serving as a stepping-stone toward full integration into community living and helping individuals increase empowerment and quality of life.
I have worked as an intern here for 2+ years. One of my favorite places I’ve ever worked at!
Being mentally ill is a daily struggle. But there is hope at the Recovery Center. They will support your mental health journey and give you the opportunity to gain more insight about yourself and the tools to get through your struggles. I don’t know where’d I’d be without the staff, volunteers and my other peers.
Its a great place to work on your recovery from any sort of mental illness!
