People complain about giving free help but no one says that until they’re homeless and don’t have it then when you need it, it’s not enough take it from someone that’s been there and back again. Take what you get because you could have nothing at all.!

This review is for the Central Connection intake team at Logan Hall off Burnet Ave. It’s not always easy to ask for help, but everyone—from the person who greeted me for check-in, to Jerry who advised on benefits, to Erica who handled my mental health assessment—was supportive, helpful, thorough and kind. The assessment itself felt like therapy, and I left with concrete tips for next steps on benefits. You can tell they care and I’m very grateful for their help.
The appointment had to be scheduled well in advance and I’m sure they’re slammed, but if you’re overwhelmed, in need and don’t know where to start, this is a great resource.

Central Clinic is an absolutely fantastic community clinic. I've been going to Central Clinic for a couple years now, and everyone I've ever worked with have been nothing short of fantastic! I do therapy and psychiatric medicine management there, and I don't have a single bad thing to say. Even the secretaries who work up front are incredibly lovely and kind. Only trouble I've ever had is sometimes it can take a few weeks to get signed to a provider, as they are very busy, but this is because they are one of the only clinics around who provide services to people on Medicaid, which is a blessing itself. Highly recommend.
