“I met Sarah Huey after finally finding who I had thought was the stylist of my dreams, embarking on a new trendy hair color service others had left me disappointed with in one way or another (high contrast balayage from dark brown to platinum) doing it over several expensive appointments only to reach maintenance level and hear she was moving out of country! Ohh so sad! So, resigned to my fate I set out to find a new stylist. Before I found Sarah I felt I was just going to try ONE more time, then when it didn't work out (like everyone else) I'd go back to my natural color. I've searched for **years** for the stylist who could do what I was hoping for, found her once, and figured lightning wouldn't strike twice if you know what I mean. Boy was I wrong!! When I booked with Sarah I hoped for the best, but planned for the worst because it seemed no matter who I went to, I walked out looking the same. My roots were always way too harsh and dark compared to the blonde. Others didn't blend them the way I hoped for. Choppy. Streaky. The contrast between my base and my light tones was...awful. Made me hate balayage! Until Sarah showed me something completely new to me and rocked my world! She actually blew my mind! The way she blends, let's just say she made me love my natural color as a base in balayage! She made it look amazing! How did she do that without changing my base color?? Mind blowing! Sarah, my Gosh woman. I LOVE YOU!!!!! I really don't want to post this review because then maybe you'll be famous (not that you don't deserve that! You DO!) and too busy to work on little ole me, but again, my goodness girlfriend, WOW!! Talent doesn't even begin to describe it! ***Sarah Huey is a prodigy, an anomaly, an alchemist. Magic. And her services are not outrageously priced?! Am I dreaming?*** My hair says "Yeah girl, you're dreaming. Your hair couldn't possibly look this fabulous in real life!" But my husband swears he paid for it haha. So I guess it really did happen, and I am SO fortunate to be walking around a living breathing example of what passion can do when it mingles with the heart of a hungry lion and the joy of an angel at the same time! If you go see Sarah, you'd better be good to her! Trust me, you'll never meet anyone like her again for as long as you live. My stylist, the unicorn. Thank you for making every day amazing for me, Sarah! I love waking up each day filled with the same level of enthusiasm and joy for your work that I felt the first moment I saw it! YOU are amazing. “Beth sure knows her stuff!! I went to that OTHER joke of a salon at the OTHER end of Crosspoint Plaza for a cut and color. Horrible experience and the cut and color looked like my 8 year old niece did it.I called Mainstreet Salon for a consultation to see if anyone could could do something...anything to salvage my hair. I showed Beth my desired cut and color ( the same pictures i showed to the OTHER person). Beth asked questions and came up with a plan to fix my hair. I went in Saturday and let Beth do her magic. Explaining everything she was going to do, i felt well informed. She seemed like she was really getting into doing this repair, she was going to make this better. AND SHE DID. My cut was awesome, close to the picture she saw. The color was light andshiny, unlike the mousy brown the OTHER salon sent me home with.
