“My father was under the care of CHP hospice. Their professionalism and compassion far exceeded my expectations. I am not from the Van Wert area, but was able to meet a few of the folks that helped take care of him in the home. Special thank you to April who came and sat with us at home during a difficult time. Once he transferred to hospice house, he was treated with respect and dignity. All staff were very caring and made sure that all of our needs were met. I give special recognition to Kerrie the nurse. Her compassion for those she's caring for is outstanding. She cried with us. She laughed with us. She felt like part of the family. You are blessed to have her as a part of your team. My Dad's favorite nurse Andrea came in to check on him as well. His massage therapist came in to give him a massage on his final day. He looked forward to his massages routinely.
