We hired YRP to replace our shower with Onyx and replace the ceramic floor tile. My Dad was an outstanding small contractor for many decades. YRP would definitely the ‘Dad’ test with flying colors.

I meant to write this review months ago, but I haven’t gotten to it because there are A LOT of excellent things I want to write.

I will update this to provide more details, but for now I will just note YRP is honest, strives for perfection, did more work than I expected without charging additional for it, and were great to work with.

One HUGE shoutout to Wayne, who performed most of the work - he was stellar.

“When our organization needed to put an addition on a house we went through 3 other builders who all backed out or ghosted us before we went with a "real" professional contractor. Peachtree exceeded our expectations at every step of the way, in every part of the process.Brian, our project manager, was easy to work with and talk to and kept us up to date with honest info every step of the way. When we had concerns about the quality of some of the subs' work, he usually had already noticed and was already on it, and if not he agreed and got it taken care of.I remodel houses for a living and expected any builder to use low quality builder grade materials. I was pleasantly surprised that they used Advantech flooring and other high quality stuff and the insulation and other work was all well done. Alex (the lead carpenter) and the other guys were conscientious, professional, and easy to work with and talk to.I renovated the kitchen, took out a bearing wall, did electric work and our volunteers painted and did other work while Peachtree took care of the addition. The residents moved in before the addition was complete and Brian and Alex somehow took all of this in stride!In a world where dealing with GCs is a challenge at best and a nightmare at worst, Peachtree was an amazing exception. “I had Bennett replace my storm boors with the same model that I had them install 14 years ago. Even tho they now suggested a different brand I insisted they use the same Anderson storm doors with self-storing screens and locking levered handles that I had been so happy with in the past. Unfortunately, one of the locks was defective and Anderson was extremely difficult to deal with, but Bennett repeatedly returned until the issue was resolved. I would strongly recommend Bennett and I still love my doors in spite of this issue!“

“Joe to the rescue! After buying my first home, I contacted multiple flooring companies for quotes, including Joe. He was very knowledgeable, experienced, and confident in his work, and his price was on par with others. I stupidly ignored my gut though and hired another company. That company ended up botching the job THREE times, each progressively worse. I reached back out to Joe, and he got me in quickly and did a fantastic job. He answered all my questions and eased all my concerns, and came back a few times to made adjustments to thresholds, etc. I called him again after an appliance technician damaged the kitchen floor, and he came by to evaluate and did a quick fix without expecting anything in return.“

“Johnny Bobo is one of the best masons you can find in the area and you can get him for your GC count yourself very lucky. Bobo rebuilt the 3rd floor brick wall of our 1870's historic home, and later was GC for a number of interior improvements and facade painting.“

“I would highly recommend Able Asbestos Construction. They did an amazing job removing the asbestos from our basement. They had the best quote, were on-time or early every day, and were very professional.“

“This review is about the excellent customer service that I received when I stopped by the store today. I was looking for a retro refrigerator that I saw online and couldn't find at my local store. In fact, my local store told me that there were none at any Home Depot stores. I decided to stop by the Latham store anyway. There were 2 display models for sale. Zack helped me with the fridge. He dusted it down and when I realized that the second model looked better (from the front), but was missing the handles, Zack and another employee, got out their tools, took the handles off of one and screwed them on to the other. When we pulled the second one out we realized that it was badly dented in the back. I apologized to Zack for doing all of that work for nothing and he let me know that it wasn't a problem. That is what he was there for. He then proceeded to call around to see if other stores had what I was looking for and he found exactly what I was looking for at another Home Depot. I don't know if Zack, or any of the other employees who helped me today will ever see this but, for everyone else who does, this is how a store should run. This is customer service at it's BEST! Thank you“

“We have just added a new back splash to our new kitchen..we are so happy with the tiles that Sherman Wood installed. My kitchen looks like a Hgtv makeover!!! The Collar City Craftsman crew were neat,fast,professional , and didn’t mind that I had a 17 month old grandchild running around. They had my job done and sealed in 24 hours!!! I will call them again especially now that I know they do more than tile!!!! Thank you Top Tile for suggesting them!!!“
