“We went into building a home with our guard up. We tried to do our homework and heard every horror story from friends, colleagues, and the internet about “bad home builders”. Barbera is not one of them. We had been burnt ourselves in the past from bad contractors on projects both big and small but the process of working with the Barbera team was a constant breath of fresh air that yes, there are still professionals who care about doing a great job. Throughout our build they were always ready to answer our questions, no matter how small or naive. Any concerns we had were taken seriously. They worked with our long distance move and were very accommodating in that regard. In the end we moved into a beautiful house on schedule and couldn’t be happier. The few post-closing punch list items that came up have been extremely minor and always handled quickly and easily, no matter how small. Every subcontractor they work with is impressively professional and I can’t stress enough how much of a relief that is. They are not just outsourcing to nobody; Barbera does quality work. Andre is an expert at his job and Mia has been a pleasure to work with in the office whenever we’ve had questions. We are glad we found them to build our home.”
“This review is about the excellent customer service that I received when I stopped by the store today. I was looking for a retro refrigerator that I saw online and couldn't find at my local store. In fact, my local store told me that there were none at any Home Depot stores. I decided to stop by the Latham store anyway. There were 2 display models for sale. Zack helped me with the fridge. He dusted it down and when I realized that the second model looked better (from the front), but was missing the handles, Zack and another employee, got out their tools, took the handles off of one and screwed them on to the other. When we pulled the second one out we realized that it was badly dented in the back. I apologized to Zack for doing all of that work for nothing and he let me know that it wasn't a problem. That is what he was there for. He then proceeded to call around to see if other stores had what I was looking for and he found exactly what I was looking for at another Home Depot. I don't know if Zack, or any of the other employees who helped me today will ever see this but, for everyone else who does, this is how a store should run. This is customer service at it's BEST! Thank you”
