When we discovered Anthony at Bellmore Kennels (in April 2025), it quickly became evident that he places his dogs’ welfare above all else. His dogs are members of his family, his family is fully invested in the care and attention of each litter and pup, and the property is not only spacious and clean but also meticulously manicured and purposely tailored to every need and every stage of dog development. Furthermore, Anthony was sensitive, sincere, and relatable as we discussed shared experiences of love and loss with our canine companions. These initial encounters and observations gave us peace of mind and full confidence in pursuing a pup from Bellmore’s next litter.

Throughout the gestation period and birth of the litter, our experience and interactions with Anthony continued to exceed expectations. He was prompt and attentive in his communication, detailed in his interactions with us, and thoughtful throughout the entire process. There were times when we found ourselves focused on details like gender, markings, or size, and Anthony was the thoughtful guide who helped us stay focused on what truly mattered – finding a pup with the right temperament, matching our yard and home environment, and aligning with the activity level of our lifestyle. He remained constantly focused on our pairing in order to provide the greatest chance for success. Not only did we feel prioritized, but we knew our pup was in a great environment for the first few months of its life; Anthony went above and beyond to send pictures, updates, and videos of the onsite parents, the litter, and their week-by-week progression and care.

When pickup day arrived in June 2025, Anthony’s generous starter pack of supplies & paperwork and heartfelt goodbye to our pup reaffirmed how much he cares about every dog and wants their new homes to succeed. In the weeks following, he stayed in touch frequently to check on our pup’s progress and adjustment. We are confident that, had any problems arisen, Anthony would have gone out of his way to help because of his genuine love for his dogs. Even now, seven months from when we initially reached out to Anthony, we are still in touch with pup updates and happenings because of the lasting impression he made on us regarding his utmost care and concern. The entire process, start to finish, was nothing short of excellent.

Lastly, we cannot say enough about the pup we were matched with. Not only was he healthy and well-socialized upon adoption, but his disposition is kind, patient, tolerant, playful, curious, smart, confident, energetic, cuddly, adaptable, and stubbornly obedient - all the things you would want in an at-home companion and adventure-seeking copilot. And, physically, he is a perfectly engineered specimen – unique markings, beautiful eyes, adorable face, and the softest and floppiest ears on the planet.
