Genuinely the nicest, most empathetic and compassionate women I have ever met in the medical field. I suffered from severe medical trauma specifically surrounding gynecological care and they took the time to listen to my story, cry with me and make me feel seen, heard, and understood. They answered all of my questions with honesty and care. I was a bit dizzy from anxiety and I had a ginger ale and crackers in my hand before my pants were even off. They did not pressure me to complete anything that day and instead met me where I was mentally and set up a medical plan for me to continue treatment on my terms, giving me back control and autonomy of my body again. I will always appreciate everything Planned Parenthood does. My doctor cancelled my appointment to have my iud replaced twice, so I decided to go to PP to have it done. Everyone there was extremely kind and professional. My nurse was so sweet and very good at what she does. She made me feel so comfortable. The NP who did the procedure walked me through evey step, letting me know what was going on and when the painful parts were going to occur. Obviously it's never a fun procedure but they made it as easy as it possibly could be, and I am very grateful.
