“I started taking training 3 weeks ago. Even though I had no prior experience before, I was able to adapt to the environment quickly. All the instructors, especially Brian Beaury, are very successful in their jobs and very helpful. Other people taking training are also very friendly, meaning the lessons are very fun and at the same time challenging. It is a great place to improve.“

“Our son has been in the after-school program at Master Yang’s Martial Arts Center for about two years, and we have had a very positive experience. As working parents, we truly appreciate how reliable and supportive the program is. They cover half days, no-school days, spring break, and winter break, which has been a huge help for our family. It gives us peace of mind knowing that our child is in a safe, structured, and caring environment after school.

The staff are friendly, patient, and responsible. Many of them have worked there for years, and that consistency really makes a difference. Over time, we have come to feel that Master Yang’s is not just an after-school program, but more like a supportive community. Our son feels comfortable there, and we feel that he is surrounded by people who know him, care about him, and encourage him in a positive way.

One of the biggest changes we have seen is how much stronger and more confident our son has become. With the regular Taekwondo training and daily physical activity, he has gradually become stronger, more coordinated, and more resilient. The day-to-day practice really makes a difference. He has learned discipline, focus, respect, perseverance, and the spirit of Taekwondo.

We also appreciate that the Taekwondo training is taken seriously. The instructors hold the students to a good standard. They don’t just let the kids go through the motions — they teach proper technique and encourage the children to keep improving.

Another thing we value is the balance of activities throughout the year. In the summer, the kids get outdoor time, play soccer, run around, and spend time together in the sunshine. The staff supervise them carefully, so we feel comfortable knowing they are active but still in a safe environment. In the winter, when outdoor time is limited, they still keep the kids engaged indoors after Taekwondo class. The older leadership students help lead activities for the younger kids, and many of them have also grown up training at Master Yang’s. They are respectful and responsible, and they serve as positive role models.

Overall, Master Yang’s has had a very positive impact on our son, both physically and personally. It is definitely a significant investment for an after-school program, but for our family, the consistency, care, structure, and positive influence have been very valuable. We are truly grateful for the support they have provided to our child and our family.“

Dewey's Martial Arts Academy Martial Arts Schools

“A great place to learn.

I took Dewey’s class during my younger days here and am happy to be returning to the hobby.

Karate is a great outlet that not only improves your self defense, but greatly improves your mental attitude, confidence, integrity and overall increases well being.

All of the instructors are patient and helpful, and you will receive a disciplined training at any belt; a healthy step out of your comfort zone. You will form a great relationship with the other students as well; all professional and generous people.

There are times when it is difficult, but training does not come easy and you will get support from everyone including your instructors. It is all the nature of the game and worth the fight.

I recommend for anyone at any level.
