Joining this dojo has been one of the best things to happen to our family! My daughter, son, husband and I all take classes. Karate has been a fun challenge for each of us and we have each grown in our own individual ways since joining, but then we also get to bond together over karate as a family. We were initially drawn in by the idea of having fun and exercising at the same time, and that has definitely been the case. However, we stay because of the character development. The conversations in class about using honor, discipline, communication and respect to become the best version of yourself are easily digestible for our kids and easy for us to reinforce as parents.

When joining the Golden Lions, I went in thinking I was to old and out of shape to start Karate, but in 5 months I amazed at how far I've come and just how much I have learned. Everyone is so helpful and encouraging and I'm determined to continue to do my best in this fantastic journey. To any senior that wants to experience something that expands your mind and body with masters if Budaki Karate, then this is the place you are looking for! I'm so glad I took that first step thru the door.

We absolutely love this karate school! My 5-year-old son and 8-year-old daughter both attend, my daughter has attended since she was 4-years old. the positive impact has been incredible. They've grown so much in confidence, focus, and self-control since starting. The instructors are amazing—patient, encouraging, and great at connecting with kids of all ages and personalities.

Classes are the perfect mix of structure, discipline, and fun. My kids are always excited to go, and they come home proud of what they've learned. The leadership program really emphasizes respect, responsibility, and communication, which shows up in how my kids behave at home and school.
