I started taking training 3 weeks ago. Even though I had no prior experience before, I was able to adapt to the environment quickly. All the instructors, especially Brian Beaury, are very successful in their jobs and very helpful. Other people taking training are also very friendly, meaning the lessons are very fun and at the same time challenging. It is a great place to improve.

This place is perfect for someone that wants to start their kid in an activity. We enrolled our son hoping he would open up to socialize, Even though he ultimately wasn’t ready to continue and had a hard time adjusting often crying and leaving the mat every coach handled the situation with so much understanding and compassion. Not once did we feel judged or pressured. Instead, you met him where he was, spoke to him calmly, and truly tried to help him feel comfortable.

That meant more to us than you probably realize. While he may not have been ready this time, the positive and supportive environment you created left a lasting impression on us.

All kinds of folks, lots of class options (Muay Thai, wrestling, boxing, gi/no-gi, morning, etc.) and the owner/Brian and community was super welcoming. The classes were well run with great instructors. No egos, very respectful students, and everyone is there to improve their Jiu Jitsu. I highly recommend this place if you’re in the greater Albany area and...read full review
