However, from the very beginning, Summit Remodeling put me at ease with their professional and transparent approach.Their team was skilled, efficient, and communicative throughout the entire process. They provided regular updates and made sure I was informed about any changes or unexpected issues that arose. Most importantly, they were able to fix the mistakes made by my previous contractor and turn my renovation nightmare into an excellent experience.Believe me when I say - There is no perfect contractors. Construction is chaotic, messy and nerve wrecking. What you need is project managers who will align all the stressful pieces, handle it themselves, and have clear timelines. Lorraine is very efficient. She visits the jobsite almost every day. Jen is on top of every detail, and Toni always makes sure she will get back to you efficiently. It is important to have people who see minor details all the way through to completion. Most of all their prices for unexpected changes were very fair, and I really feel they do not look to take advantage of you.Yes there were bumps in the road, but during construction there will always be unexpected things that arise. But the Summit team dealt with those bumps in a professional way, and gave me fair and honest options to remediate. My project manager was Joe and I very much appreciated all the knowledge and expertise he brought to the table, and also the way he managed the different trades coming into my house.Overall, I am thrilled with the work that Summit Remodeling has done on my home, and I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable, skilled, and trustworthy contractor. However, after visiting the showroom, I learned that they do all the work themselves, so it became a no brainer to use 1 company to do everything.Kevin put together a very fair package price for the full remodel - frame, sheetrock, painting, subfloor leveling, new hardwood floors, brand new kitchen & bathroom. “When we were making the daunting task of selecting a contractor, our architect put us in touch with one of his clients to get some insight and I heard a phrase I had never heard before "hiring our contractor was the best and easiest decision we ever made" and that was AGP and we share the exact same sentiment. We did a large project with them in 2022 and Greg and his team became like family to us. Greg is the general contractor and his wonderful wife, Agie runs the showroom and design aspect. They are the A-team -- the attention to detail and quality are incredibly impressive. Then there are the other team members like Jarek, Peter and Chepe who became part of our family. The project was completed on-time and on-budget and I really can't describe what a great experience we had with them. We hired them again in 2023 to do a smaller project and again, they were impeccable. I will tell you, hiring AGP will be the best decision you will ever make. They are THE BEST in the business. Hands down.“

“I stopped in to Cancos in Hicksville one day to look at tile for our new kitchen project that we were working on. I did not have any idea what to do with a small piece of quartz that I liked in my hand to show someone for help to match a tile too. There we met a lovely very professional saleswomen named Salika Stinson. She was not only patient with me she was extremely helpful and listened to exactly what my vision was and what I thought I needed to make my kitchen project come together beautifully. We were very tired and confused as to what to do because we had just moved into this home. Salika realized how much this kitchen meant to me and that I needed to feel better about what I was doing in this kitchen and how to match the decor so it goes with the rest of my new home. Not only was she pleasant and patient she knew exactly what tile to show us to go with that small piece of quartz and how to match things to it so that my kitchen would come out as beautiful as I imagined it could be. Everything she suggested was perfect and so beautiful and went together amazingly. I even called her after that day for help and she was just as helpful and kind. Thanks to Salika and her amazing talent for design, knowledge and color my kitchen has turned out so beautiful and matches the rest of my home beautifully. I would recommend Salika to anyone who really does not know where to start with their home project she really is amazing at design and Cancos needs to know she is an asset to their company. They are very lucky to have her in their Hicksville store. I did call to tell them this already. I also want to mention the very polite and helpful young lady named Eugenia who helped us at the register. So friendly and again an asset to Cancos. Our whole experience at the Hicksville store has been wonderful. We are past customers of Cancos in Commack as well. The salespeople and the quality of their tile are the best. “Will and team are Levitt Style are excellent. They helped us convert a traditional Levitt bathtub bathroom for “aging in place” and to enhance safety. They were very responsive all along. I’d say they went beyond the call of duty - finishing a comprehensive job earlier than I thought possible. They do high quality work but they are reasonable - their cost proposal was fair and they stuck to it. What I also appreciated beyond their high quality workmanship was their straight communication, knowledgeable guidance, and reliability. They knew I was under time pressure - we had to move out of the house while the work was done.
