“I've been coming to this Spa for many years now. Two things always stood out! Sue (owner) is a very pleasant and personable person that treats everyone with total professionalism. And the second is that no matter which of her staff is working she always lets them know what the customers needs are! Sometimes there is a little communication gap but here's where she shines and instructs her staff as to the needs of her clients. (Soft massage, Hard massage, Combo's etc. etc.) I have fallen asleep here from some of the staff putting me into a complete comfort zone!!! Another Fantastic thing recently is the renovations that were done here!! I feel even more comfortable now and I will continue to bring this establishment my business as long as it is available to me!!! Thank You Susan and thank you to your staff!!!! Great Job!!! “I’d heard of Sara’s Skin through the grapevine for a few years but hadn’t had the chance to get in for a service until recently and now I can’t wait to go back. Sara’s space is calm and welcoming and she herself is warm and thorough – taking the time to sit with me before the service to understand my skin concerns and build a facial designed to address them all. The spa bed was heated and comfortable and in no time, I was fully relaxed – so much so that when the service was over, I felt like all my stress had melted away for the hour and I left with the most radiant, hydrated skin. She didn’t try to push crazy expensive products, but made recommendations for routines and solutions to help address the need to hydrate. All in all, a great experience. “Essence Esthetics is one of the best places to go to in the Bronx for pampering and for beauty. The owner is very professional and friendly. The decor is beautiful and the place sets a calm and relaxing setting. They offer facials, manicure and pedicure, lashes, make up etc. The prices are reasonable compared to other places. She also provides her customers with free snacks and drinks. If you are ever in the bronx area or closer to Mt Vernon as this place boarders Mt Vernon please check her out. You won't be disappointed.“

“I drive half an hour to get my monthly facial by Georgetta for 3 yrs approx
I appreciate her experience and knowledge in skincare because my adult acne is much better controlled now then when I went to dermatologists. I had a massage there once too buy a man that was pretty outstanding though I dont remember his name unfortunately.
Ive been to other places when I didnt have time to drive there but typically was never as satisfied with my facial results.
The facility is clean and relaxing. I just wish you can pick who you want to have your service done by in the online booking. I always have to call and if they are busy it can take 4 calls to get an appt if u cant wait on hold. Other times they answer on 2nd ring.
Can u fix that? I mean even my hairdressers i dont have to call anymore who works that has time?“

“This was my first time seeing an esthetician and Merolin made the experience incredible! She’s so gentle and patient, not to mention, very knowledgeable when it comes to skincare. She taught me a lot in the hour/hour and a half we had. I already trust her with my skin and I can’t wait to follow up with her next month! If I could give her 10 stars, I would lol. “I started seeing Betsayda about a year ago because of hormonal acne issues I’ve had my entire adult life. Betsayda has been EXTREMELY knowledgeable and helpful with giving me tips around my skincare routine in addition to regular, personalized facials that she tailors to my needs.
