“Island pet resort saved my family vacation, they acomodated my puppy last minute and took a good care of him.
My 7 month old pup was scared of strangers and kind of aggressive toward everyone but us. I booked in home petsitter in advanced and decided to try it for one day before vacation. . After one day she cancelled my booking for boarding due to my puppy aggressive behavior, leaving me with no options right before vacation.
I called Island resort and they invite us for meet and greet same day. My dog was terrified and tried to bite them at first but manager calmed him down and was able to handle him with a few minutes, absolutely professional and knows how to handle difficult dogs.
They sent me videos and pictures of my puppy every day, and I can see he made a few friends and become social with staff and other dogs. Good boarding place with good people. And honestly their price is the most affordable in Staten Island.
I will recomend this place and definatelly will use them again.“
