Absolutely bring your alterations here. The man is very talented, reasonable, very accommodating. I am so grateful for this place!!!! My baby shower was 4/19. 4/18 I picked my dress up from a tailor in Eltingville next to eltingville nails and sofias restaurant. It was done so badly and that’s the first two pictures i included. My mom desperately brought my dress to Nelson tailors 25 minutes before they closed on Saturday and asked if he could help. He said yes and he completely saved my baby shower dress. Best cleaner in the neighborhood!
Convenient location with a large parking area. The place just renovated and is very clean. They’re always kind and professional. Got my pants tailored here a couple times and it always comes out great!

By far, the most professional, courteous provider of dry cleaning and alteration services on Staten Island. Have used them since they opened. They are extremely honest with a high level of integrity If the stain won't come out, or if the alteration won't work, they tell me ahead of time. Now, when I buy my suits, I have Nelson Cleaners do the alterations as they do it right the first time and their prices are lower than any tailor. As Co-chair of the Great Kills Memorial Day Parade Committee, they have always supported our event.
