I've been going to Mint Nails since moving to Staten Island in 2001. I've tried quite a few other salons just to see what else is out there and have found none other to be as welcoming, clean and provide the same quality service. There's a lot of camaraderie in the shop. I also appreciate that they don't push other services on you. It's a busy salon so a wait should be expected without an appointment. They have a LOT of color options. My first time going here since I just moved into Staten Island. My nail tech was very nice but I feel I was taken advantage of. I got a new set fairly short not to long acrylic set and 2 colors of gel polish. I was told couple different prices but what I paid definitely wasn't what I was told 80$ not including tip. My boyfriend payed it and tipped in cash. On our way out another nail tech shouted in front of everyone that where was I going and I need to tip. I was baffled because we did tip. My nail tech also informed her I did. It was embarrassing and if it wasn't for my boyfriend I had plenty to say about the disrespect. Highly recommend for dip nail powder manicure. They have a HUGE selection of colors and are very thorough with the application process. I’ve had this service done with several different techs and have been really pleased with the longevity of the manicure each time! Easy to communicate my preferences on shape/length too; I’ve never had any issues with uneven filing which sometimes happens when I’ve tried other salons.Services: Gel manicures
