The crew is always respectful of the surrounding environment. Plastic sheeting is taped, hung and placed on all possessions. Waterproof tarps are set up as runners to protect adjacent floors. When he is finished all that's left is the thoroughly cleaned stone, brought back to life glistening in the morning and afternoon sun.

I asked them to put vents in the floor (Which by the way they installed them) the vents were to capture the updrafts from the wood burning stove in the finished basement up to the second story!!! After having worked with Derby on a carpeting project for a flip house in 2023 that went extremely well, I returned to them with a smaller and more unique project this year.

The Derby team helped me pick out a carpet from a selection of remnants they kept in their store. From there, I coordinated with Fran to send measurements and zero in on the final cut.

Within one day the carpet was prepared and ready for pick up!

I'm amazed at the sheer precision of the cut with such a simple layout that I provided. While I would certainly recommend having Fran come to measure out your room, this project we worked on together didn't necessarily warrant their trip out to my home to take measurements as we were working on a small vocal booth.

The entire team worked around my availability given my current work hours which was a testament to their patience provided the rounds of phone tag I put them through.

I'd work with Derby again, ten out of ten.

“Carlos did a fantastic job removing and replacing exterior caulk and painting the outside of our house. Like seriously, I look at some of the places he painted and I'm like how on earth did he paint there and not get any paint in the wrong place? He also thought to paint parts of our house that we wouldn't have thought to get painted -- like our door and our stair railing -- and after checking to see if we wanted those things painted he did them for no additional charge.He was also super patient when we decided that we didn't like one of the colors we chose. In general he was a pleasure to work with and very responsive. Also, for doing the job all by himself he got it done super fast! I would definitely recommend Carlos.“
