“I was very appreciative that Dr. Taksir was available on Sunday of a holiday weekend to first guide me by phone, then create an appointment within a few hours to see my cat. He was very upfront about costs and options I could pursue and allowed me time to think about it before making decisions. He and staff were kind and he did his best to assess my cat's issue (my cat is not cooperative). The office is a bit outdated but that was insignificant to the speed in which I was given an appointment and service (the other Albany Animal Hospitals open on Sunday had 10 hour waiting periods). I would recommend Dr. Taksir!“

Dr Rachel recently amputated my 9 year old pittie’s tail. My schedule was tight and Dr Rachel worked with me to make sure I could bring my girl in as soon as possible. The surgery went well and she looks as perfect as ever.“

“The staff at Cornerstone Veterinary hospital first saw my cat Christy when I walked in with a medical emergency and immediately evaluated her. I realized after talking to the tech that took her back said that they weren't but that they never turn away a pet and only evaluated her to make sure she was well enough to travel and suggested the nearest ER that was suited for the neurological issue she was having and they didnt charge me for the evaluation. Christy is now a patient at Cornerstone and I can't say enough about the gentle and professionaland care she was given by Dr Monast and her assistant at her first appt! Christy is recovering nicely!“

They always take the time to ensure our animals are comfortable, even disassembling our cat’s carrier to minimize her stress.

It’s clear that the well-being of the animals is their top priority, and that’s what matters most to us. We’ve never felt mistreated or found the staff to be anything but courteous and respectful.

“This is the BEST veterinarian in the area, hands down. Dr. Jones and her staff are kind, great with the pets, great at explaining things to you. They have always been in communication with our specialists and always call to communicate with us with any results, updates, etc. They always call to ask how the pets are doing. The prices are very reasonable given the cost of vet care today and worth every penny for the great care.“
