Long review alert....but please take the time to read it, in its entirety. It matters.So, it's taken me a little bit to write this, for many reasons, but one is because I don't even really know where to begin, but....here it goes. Death is hard. When you lose someone close to you, functioning becomes difficult. I lost my father on January 22nd. That day, became the hardest day of my life.We had friends by our side, and one of them suggested that we call The Glenville Funeral Home, they knew one of the directors, Brittany DeMarco-Furman. I didn't realize it, but, I knew her too, she is the wife of a friend I've known for years. I had always heard great things about Glenville and about Brittany. I made that difficult phone call to Brittany, and the moment she began speaking, I knew it was the right decision.The funeral process can be daunting, scary, and sad. And if you're not at the right place it can also feel like a sales pitch, and a means of just getting through the process. I have to say, NOT AT GLENVILLE IT'S NOT! Brittany, I just want to say, first, I'm sorry it took me so long. But I promise I did not forget. What you did for my family will never ever be forgotten. So THANK YOU! To you and your family for opening your hearts, and your doors to mine. We are, and will be forever grateful.On Tuesday January 23rd, my family and I visited the Funeral home and met with Brittany, for 4 HOURS! Not one single moment of that 4 hours, were we rushed, were we "sold on anything", Brittany gave us choices. Beyond that though, she took her time, she listened, she let us laugh, she let us cry, and she let us reminisce, all the while taking it in. Writing notes. Learning about us. It was the most amazing experience. Weird words right, when your talking about death, but, that's the whole point of my words here today. Brittany, and Glennvile Funeral Home, not only made the process tolerable, but they made it enjoyable. They took the most difficult time of my family's life, and changed it from Death.....to a Celebration of Life, which is exactly what it is supposed to be.Brittany's personal touch with everything from the Obituary(Best Obituary I've ever read by the way!) to the Giants License Plates in the flower arrangement around the Urn just shows that she listened and understood EXACTLY who we are, and what he loved. Thank you Brittany, you pour your soul into what you do, and it shows.So I'll end this novel of a review, but I just can't say enough about The Glenville Funeral Home or Brittany and staff. If you need to celebrate the life of a loved one, there is no better place to do that then The Glenville Funeral Home.
John and his crew did a fantastic job for us. They discussed and listened to what we needed done before, during and after the job was completed. They were very professional and worked diligently every day. They showed up on time and worked all day long. John kept in contact with us and his crew each and every day. I highly recommend them and when we need any painting work done again, I will call them first.
Both doctors and staff are always friendly and they are very accommodating with appointments. Would definitely recommend them.

The Wesscapes crew did another fantastic job of Fall cleanup on our property - trimming shrubs, cleaning up perennial plants, and leaving the various beds looking neat for winter. Jolene is a true professional. Her knowledge of home improvement and repairs is excellent. She organized and scheduled all the subcontractors necessary for the job and the project was completed while I was out of town for two weeks. I can be difficult to please and have high standards, but Brad is frankly the best contractor/vendor I have ever used for any type of home installation, repair or service. He’s responsive, sets realistic expectations that he meets or exceeds. His work is quality, and he explains things well and communicates clearly. He has and uses systems well to communicate, bill, accept payments. He also is tidy, careful, and cautious. We had our 8 month old neutered today. Dr Singer was so caring and thorough. Alfie was calm when we picked him up and we have great instructions for the aftercare. We are always very happy with everyone at Glenville Veterinary Hospital.

I decided to get a more reliable backup for my sump pump in the event of a power outage. I was referred to Wayne's Plumbing by my heating company. I planned to get a couple of quotes, but after the 1st call with Wayne, I felt totally comfortable moving forward. He explained the water powered backup and how reliable they are. Wayne and team did great, explained everything to me, tested etc. I am happy to have more peace of mind in the event my power goes out. Cost was very reasonable as well. Thank you!
