I wish I could describe the lack of care that was given to my grandfather, a loving, kind hearted man, beautiful home, welcomed all aids and workers. Because, my family advocated (in which most delicate patients who receive services don’t have advocates or family members/emotional support to listen and help make decisions when they can not do themselves). all metro decided to pull aids, and not respond to phone calls most likely in fear of them facing the blame of a poorly organized “health care organization”. One star is far too generous. The Schenectady office has a nice coordinator in Kristi, but the majority of staff my father has had are abhorrent. Very very unreliable, complacent, and apathetic. There is little if any accountability for the aid to perform adequately and not to sound redundant, but the aides consistent do not show. Furthermore, it is typical for no aide to show up and the office does not even info our family, leaving my father without help for hours. I feel bad to be writing this but there is very little recourse and I highly encourage families looking into assisted living situations for themselves and/or parents to pass on All Metro Schenectady.
