“We have been going to Kwon’s in Roslyn for a couple of years now and even though Great Neck is littered with martial arts schools, we chose to trek out to Kwon’s in Roslyn because of Master DK’s teaching style on positive reinforcement, attention to focus and details, and most importantly, challenging kids to push beyond their limits and understanding what true grit is. Now that Kwon’s opened a studio in Great Neck, that dreaded 40 min drive in rush hour traffic from GN to Roslyn has been trimmed to a 10 min drive with intimate smaller class sizes. Coach Joe is amazing with kids and both of my children look forward to going to their weekly taekwondo class.“

“I had surgery on my ACL and meniscus in mid March on a Friday and started therapy the following Monday. I thought it would be too soon and that my recovery would take a long time. With the help of TSPT, I was able to get rid of my crutches in a week, stop using the leg brace in 3 weeks and my legs have never felt stronger. The staff there is very friendly. Jamie is amazing, Clo and Carrie have helped me to regain full mobility and Sam has been so awesome at helping me regain my strength. From the moment you walk till the moment you leave you, feel safe and well cared for. My Physical Therapist Tushar Bhatt MPT went above and beyond with my therapy. From his step-by-step instructions and demonstrations, knowing when I needed to take a break, introducing me to new strengthening exercises to giving me encouragement to try a little harder. He also showed me exercises I could do at home and recommended some approved exercise items to improve my recovery.

His assistants besides being so friendly knew all the exercises and gave a helping hand when I needed it. My appointments were always on time, and the team not only sent me a reminder text, but a phone call to confirm the day before a scheduled session.

“This place is truly amazing. I was referred to this place from my lawyer after wasting one month at a place that did nothing for me but run up my insurance policy. Within a month I already saw change from the exercise, workout, and the massages. My body and range of motion has shown progress. I didn’t think that I was going to get better as fast as I did. It’s been almost 4 months now and I’m back to work still receiving treatment, I’m just building muscle strength and getting stronger with the help of Ms.Kim the physical therapist . I want to give a big shout-out to Scott Liptzin and his amazing team at the Long Island Stretching Institute in Hicksville.

A couple of months ago, I injured my knee and was dealing with pain that made walking especially difficult. After getting a recommendation, I reached out to Scott. He took the time to really understand what was going on and treated my knee with a combination of stretches, exercises, and other therapies.

After just the first visit, I already felt a noticeable improvement. The second visit was more intensive, and the progress continued. Scott and his team taught me several helpful exercises and educated me on how to take care of my knee on my own.

“I have been going to Terry for almost 3 years now. I am a college soccer player, and I came in with my first torn ACL about 3 months post op frustrated with the speed that my recovery was going. “If you’re in need of physical therapy, I can’t say enough about Henry at the Reddy Care Physical and Occupational Therapy in Bayside. After years of physical therapy at various establishments with good therapists, I can honestly say that I haven’t had a physical therapist as great as Henry in a long time. Henry is patient, understanding, caring, attentive to each individual’s needs but most impressive is how he thinks on his feet in an instant. If something that worked yesterday isn’t working today, he modifies it in a blink of an eye. So you’re still getting that exercise in, just in a different way that can be tolerated. “I am currently getting physical therapy for reverse shoulder replacement. Dr. Mohammed at PT Doc has been assigned to me. During my initial visit Dr. Mohammed spent over an hour asking me questions about my shoulder and why I decided to have this operation. He analyzed my answers and my doctor’s report and came up with a treatment plan for my shoulder. Dr Mohammed has instructed Jin, at times to give me therapy. Jin is a student from Colombia University. He is a good listener and has assisted Dr Mohammed in giving me my therapy. I am very pleased with my progress thus far. I am feeling so much better since I started my therapy that I know that when my therapies come to an end i will be feeling up to par with with my “good” arm!!
