Loubet St and, 70th Ave, Forest Hills“I am a returning senior student who studied with Nick Russo over twenty years ago, as did my then teenage son. Then and now, Nick has been a knowledgeable and generous teacher. He is enthusiastic, encouraging, and patient. They say you can’t teach an old dog new tricks but Nick is certainly teaching me some.
Since I have been playing guitar for almost 60 years, technique is not our main focus. What Nick has been helping me develop and improve is my ear. He is enabling me to hear more, sing more, and play more interesting music. I am optimistic that with Nick’s guidance I will achieve my goals. Having had experience as a student of Nick’s and as a parent of a student of Nick’s, I highly recommend Nick Russo as a teacher.“

1355 Northern Blvd, Manhasset“My 9-year-old daughter has been attending Actors Garage for the past two years, taking both acting classes and musical theater, and we couldn’t be happier with the experience. The teachers, Ann and Leila, are truly amazing—warm, patient, and incredibly talented. They bring out the best in every child, encouraging confidence, creativity, and teamwork in a fun and supportive environment.
The theater program is absolutely fantastic. Every production is thoughtfully directed, professionally run, and full of heart. You can tell how much effort and care go into making each show special. The performances are always impressive, with high-quality sets, costumes, and choreography that make the kids feel like real stars on stage.
What I love most is that there’s no overly competitive atmosphere—just a genuine love for the arts and a sense of community. My daughter looks forward to every class and has grown so much, not just as a performer but also in self-confidence and communication. Actors Garage is truly a gem for young performers, and I highly recommend it to any parent looking for a nurturing, high-quality theater and acting program.“

His patience, deep musical knowledge, and ability to adapt his teaching style to my pace and level of understanding make each lesson both productive and enjoyable. I truly look forward to continuing my lessons with him and growing as a pianist under his guidance. :)“

The event showcased students of all ages, from young children to adults, performing on piano, violin, guitar, drums, and vocals. It was wonderful to see the students' talent, confidence, and growth on display.
The instructors have clearly created a supportive and encouraging environment that helps students develop both their musical skills and stage presence. The recital was well organized, engaging, and highlighted the dedication of both the teachers and students.
Keiko Studios Music Academy is doing an excellent job fostering a love of music and helping students reach their potential. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for quality music instruction“

108-10 72nd Ave Ground Floor, Forest Hills“I have been a student at Belle Arti for almost thirteen years, starting Musical Aurora group lessons at the age of five and continuing with piano lessons until present day (18 years old). I can say with confidence that any child is in very good hands at Belle Arti. Musical Aurora was an excellent foundation that was fun, engaging, and a platform for kids to further excel in musical understanding. My experiences with piano lessons from Massimiliano and Claudette have been nothing short of amazing. The teachers are not only wise and musically talented, but they are friendly and create an exciting environment for kids. If you want yourself or your family to master musical performance, there is no better school to attend than Belle Arti!“

1007 Jericho Turnpike, New Hyde Park“Whenever NYSSMA rolls around, this is my go to for sheet music. Always in stock, always a reasonable price.
UPDATE 2025: I made a trip to purchase music for upcoming NYSSMA and had to buy books, which ran a pretty penny. Our teachers were surprised since the music can be purchased just as sheets, so had I ordered online, I wouldn't have spent well over $100. I like to support local businesses, but I would have appreciated not being made to buy books for one song. I have since gone online for my music orders.“

The facility is clean and welcoming. Francine the manager is amazing takes care of everyone’s needs. I grow up playing piano and have tried many other music schools for my kids. I highly recommend great neck music conservatory.“
“James is an amazing music instructor. He’s taught me how to play the piano since I was 5 years old! He’s very supportive, kind, and always wants the best for his students. James helped me be confident when playing piano and I’ve been able to read music notes ever since! I’m now 17 years old and piano has always been a source of comfort to help me get my mind off things. Thank you James for everything you’ve done for me. 🫶🏻“

My son received drumming lessons and tutoring for the Math Regents here, and the results were incredible—he scored in the 90th percentile and is now preparing to audition for his school band.

325 Jericho Tpke, Floral Park“I cannot recommend this place enough— simply one of the greatest centers on earth, with instructors who not only love music but their students too.
I’m 27 now but I took my first piano lessons here as a teen— a little late in the game but now looking back, I wish that didn’t deter me so much from taking it more seriously, I just felt it was too late for me haha! Even so, to this day I still think about Paul grinning at the front desk and how this place made me feel like I could accomplish anything, I’ll never forget that.“

“First time sending my son to a camp outside of his school, and he had an amazing experience! I was honestly very nervous at first, especially since he had no prior experience with music or acting. Ms. Alice and her staff were so kind, patient, and welcoming, which made the experience even better!
My plan is definitely to send my son back next year and enroll my daughter as well! I highly recommend this camp—the pricing is great, and the experience was even better. We’re already looking forward to camp next year!“
