Musical Instruments & Teachers in Forest Hills

Nick Russo School of Music

Loubet St and, 70th Avenue, Forest Hills

Thu 9AM - 7PM

“I am a returning senior student who studied with Nick Russo over twenty years ago, as did my then teenage son. Then and now, Nick has been a knowledgeable and generous teacher. He is enthusiastic, encouraging, and patient. They say you can’t teach an old dog new tricks but Nick is certainly teaching me some.

Since I have been playing guitar for almost 60 years, technique is not our main focus. What Nick has been helping me develop and improve is my ear. He is enabling me to hear more, sing more, and play more interesting music. I am optimistic that with Nick’s guidance I will achieve my goals. Having had experience as a student of Nick’s and as a parent of a student of Nick’s, I highly recommend Nick Russo as a teacher.”

“What an incredible Summer 2026! ☀❤ As a parent, there’s something so special about knowing your child is spending their summer surrounded by people who truly care. This camp has become so much more than just a camp to us—it truly feels like family.

To the amazing camp staff, thank you from the bottom of our hearts for all the love, patience, encouragement, energy, and joy you gave our kids every single day. You created a place where they could have fun, build confidence, try new things, and truly shine.

One of the highlights for us was watching the Friday band performances. 🎶 Seeing my kid up there playing the drums, bass guitar, and piano, singing lead, and dancing was such a proud and unforgettable experience! Watching that confidence and joy come alive on stage is something I’ll always treasure. ❤

And of course, the cotton candy made those summer days even sweeter! 🍭😊 From the music and dancing to the friendships, laughter, and all the little moments in between, this summer gave us memories we’ll hold onto for a very long time.

It’s bittersweet to see Summer 2026 come to an end, but our hearts are so full. Thank you to everyone who made this summer so special—not just for our kids, but for the whole family. Until next summer! ☀🎶❤”

Belle Arti Center for The Arts L.L.C

108-10 72nd Ave Ground Floor, Forest Hills

Thu 1 - 7PM

“My kids have been students of Belle Arti for several years now. From a young age, the Musical Aurora program really helped to develop their ears and understanding of music. When it came time to transition to instruments, the foundation built was key in helping them to develop their skills. We have had good experiences with several piano teachers; Mr. Massimiliano Facchini is excellent, understanding how to meet the needs and challenges of teaching a growing kid patience, discipline and confidence. I also appreciate the flexibility from Belle Arti and Ms. Claudette Munne, with open communication and friendliness. It's really a place to foster all musical interests, from instruments to theory/composition and more. We love Belle Arti!”
