Not only is my stylist great at what she does, the environment and aesthetic is perfect. When I go to Texture’s I feel so relaxed and at home. The stylist are professional there is no gossip, drama, and the environment is not toxic. This is honestly the only salon I have visited more than once. I love this place❤️ Not to mention I always leave with my hair laid. Effortless talent.

I am in total pleasure with the outcome of my new haircut. After I failed to properly care for my color treated hair, I went to Carly, the owner of the salon, and requested a bigchop. I was a bit afraid to do it because the last time I had a short haircut was over 10yrs ago and it was relaxed. Being natural, I wasn't sure how I would fair, but all of my fears went away when I sat in her chair and then she removed my hair wrap. She talked to me about the current status of my hair and how she would fix it. And she did just that. We changed the color to jet black, which pops against my brown skin. I brought my 4 year old (wiggly ?) daughter in today to have her hair trimmed and braided, and we had a great experience. Shameka was wonderful - she was really kind and patient with my daughter and made every part of the experience special and fun for her. You can tell she's great with kids and has tons of experience with all ages. And my daughter's hair turned out absolutely beautiful. I couldn't be happier - I highly recommend Textures and Shameka!
