Was looking to change from a Vermont Castings Winter Warm 1280, woodburning fireplace insert, to a pellet stove.
Did a fair amount of research into pellet stoves and discovered that one brand, Harman, had a stove constructed with cast iron, most of the others I saw were mainly steel.
Harman seems to protect its dealers, so I had only a few options for purchase and install in my area, Putnam County.
I contacted three, got quotes from them, AP sent two guys out to measure my fireplace, which is elevated from the floor and has a shelf in front of it.
After checking dimensions on the Harman fireplace inserts I realized that the P52i would hang out off the shelf quite a bit, but the P42i would extend about 1.5 inches, and that was just the bottom trim of the door; so, I went with that.
One thing that impressed me, was when I asked about the need for the Outside Air Kit, OAK, one place told me it was not necessary, AP told me that there are two fans, a combustion intake and a convection intake, and the design of the P42i has them fighting for air, if there is no Outside Air Kit, which causes a cavitation hum from the fans; so, while many places don't encourage the OAK, they insist upon it.
My installation was on Star Wars Day, the crew was on time, got my Vermont Castings, that we had been using for 30 years, out of the fireplace, measured all the dimensions for the surround.
Paul, the team leader, told me he likes to get it all done before bringing the stove in, so that everything goes like clockwork - and it did.
Paul put a load of pellets in the stove, and we waited for it to start, he walked me through all the control screens and explained the icons, as well as mentioning a few good pellets to consider.
He also showed me what needed to be cleaned most frequently, the area below the burn bowl where the igniter was housed, as well as the ash pan and another spot.
The guys in the office had already recommended a good vacuum to buy.
And I asked Paul about whether or not I needed a backup power supply/surge suppressor, which he said I should get.
Looking forward to not making 13-15 trips, up and down the stairs to carry enough cord wood to get us through a two day period.

My 8 year old son has been attending karate classes at the dojo for 9 months and absolutely loves it. Each class is a mix of fun (think obstacle courses!) and discipline (learning precise moves in sequence, learning to be focused and respect the teacher). The instructors are kind but firm–I often see them handling kids' emotions with sensitivity. We love that it's a consistent, year-round sport and that our kid can feel a sense of progression and pride in his growing knowledge and skills.

I recommend this dentist to everyone. Before him I hated the dentist. He has great integrity and he never makes me get work that I don’t need. When I went to another dentist bc of insurance issues they tried saying I needing my wisdom teeth out. Dr C confirmed they are fine and not causing issues. Thankfully insurance worked out so I could come back after that one visit away from him!!
I also know my niece had similar experience of other dentist saying she needed all this work done and Dr Colarusso confirmed she had no cavities or anything and was fine. He’s a family favorite!

The entire Valley Vet team is kind and loving and our pets do very well there, despite an anxiety issue with our lab. (Which has improved over time). Their location is convenient, easy accessibility (for pets and humans); and clean. Our boys are greeted and affectionately called by name upon arrival and receive verbal communication through out the visits. Valley Vet doctors are knowledgeable and communicative with clients, explaining at each visit any changes and are open to questions. Reception and assistants are all pleasant and animal lovers too! We appreciate all they do for our boys and that they demonstrate how much they care by going the extra steps to ensure quality care.
