“I had my helix pierced by Zoey he was very respectful, and nice. I first came to his shop for an industrial but when he saw my ears he made sure to mention that my ears weren’t shaped for an industrial and gave me other piercing options. That’s very good to know when getting anything pierced, The place is very nice to look at there’s a lot of cool drawings inside the place and there was music playing I really like the vibe. The pain was not bad at all. The price was not bad it was 70$ to get a helix on both ears. The price he was going to charge me when I asked for industrial on my right was 50$ which was pretty cheap in my opinion. I’m thankful I came here I left happy and pierced!”

Since 2024, I’ve personally gotten three pieces done here, and I’ve had consistently positive experiences.<br>My most recent visit was especially great. Bana at the front desk was warm, helpful, and made the whole process feel easy from the moment I came in. My tattoo artist, Will, was amazing. He really listened to what I wanted, helped everything flow with the tattoos I already had, and paid attention to the little details that made the final piece feel cohesive instead of just looking like random additions.<br>I love how my newest work came together the linework is clean, the shading is beautiful, and the placement makes the whole space-themed section of my arm feel intentional and fun. Will was patient, professional, easy to talk to, and made sure I was comfortable throughout the process.”

“I got my helix done here last summer. I remember him being professional and quick. I think it was 15-20 dollars, super worth it! I’ve gotten a bump a couple times but it is because of my hair getting stuck so don’t be afraid if you get one. Other than that it’s healed perfectly and im going back in a couple weeks for another piercing”
“Peter, was flexible in scheduling me as a walk in the day after reaching out to him to get my belly button re-pierced. When i got there he was friendly and very well informed. The space was clean and well organized. He examined my belly button’s anatomy and explained to me throughly about the type of piercing and the type of jewelry I should use for my re-piercing. The piercing process was seamless and I left the shop very pleased! A little pricey but totally worth it! I would definitely recommend him to anyone!”
“I cannot recommend Studio 28 enough. I had done multiple ear piercings while abroad and had been delaying getting them downsized/replaced for a couple of months (holidays, work, end of year, you name it). I had been looking at studios here in America. I asked coworkers about Studio 28 (easily accessible via public transportation for me) and they all had glowing recommendations. Life kept going on until mid January 2026 when I could no longer ignore an irritation flare up. Full of guilt for not coming in sooner and letting the irritation go on for so long, I was petrified but went to Studio 28 as a walk in.<br><br>Thankfully they were able to see me and listened to my story. Emily helped me pick out new piercings based on my style preferences. I appreciated they had a great selection based on budget. She was honest and assessed my ear and let me know if my choices made sense. Thank you, Emily, I get compliments for how beautiful my ears look. I never heard of Modern Mood and now the biggest fan.<br><br>I don't have enough words to say about George. He listened, sympathized, conferred with Emily and giving her a high five over the earrings selected. Not once did they chastise me or admonish me, but embraced me and disarmed my guilt. He took the time to remove and replace each of my piercings, changing the gauge and choosing the right post sizes. He explained everything he was doing and answered all my questions. I had no idea what to expect when I was walking in, but apparently with my luck, simply the best.<br><br>He gave me after instructions for after piercing care. His compassion and infectious smile had me leaving the studio with confidence that I did not ruin my piercing journey. I returned in March 2026 to get the still healing piercings downsized. He remembered all my piercing stories and the symbolism behind them. It made me feel valued and seen.<br><br>Thank you, Emily and George and Studio 28 for all your patience when I was a walk-in wreck. Healing takes time, and now I am scheduling a new piercing.<br><br>Not only does this Studio have an amazing selection, clean facilities, excellent piercing practices, but the piercers are top notch human beings.”

“I got a heart dermal done in Houston and the jewelry tarnished and turned bluish black in my face. Another piercer in Trinidad couldn’t remove the jewelry and caused pain and made the site start leaking lymph again :(. After initially telling me that I should wait 6 months to change the jewelry, she changed her mind when she realized it was a heart dermal piercing. I was nervous that she wouldn’t be able to remove it because my previous piercer wasn’t able to but she removed it quickly, cleaned the site, and there was no pain. 10/10, will deff be going back to her for more piercings. Best experience ever !!!!!”
