He was fantastic at gently, nudging me when I was going in the wrong direction which honestly truly I needed it. I don’t know how to design a closet, but he was very clear about asking what my needs were and designing the perfect closet from there. I am obsessed with my closet. Same thing with the stove. I went back-and-forth on multiple stoves and ultimately Hani helped me select one that every single day I look at the stove and I go wow you’re pretty. He also came up with the molding that is all around our apartment which adds a feminine element. Loft buildings are beautiful, but often they can be very masculine. Beyond the design, the construction team was great. Because we live in such an old old old old building, there were a lot of issues and they were able to remedy the issues as well as build a protected box for us to live in. The office staff was incredibly kind. The billing was on point and accurate. Sol, the owner, Is a good guy. The company clearly has a good culture and attracts like-minded people.

“We reached out to DeVine Woodworking with a complex custom request - to build a piece that would make use of the wasted space under our spiral staircase. We had visions of a bookcase, but Travis and Chelsea helped to expand our vision into a truly unique piece that is as beautiful as it is funcitonal.

The final product not only includes our original request of under-stair storage, but also a bench with storage where we can put on shoes before heading out the door, additional shelving on the reverse side, and a beautiful walnut wood slat wall that creates an aesthetically pleasing partition between spaces in our home.
