DeVine Woodworking

We hired Travis to design and build a custom banquette/storage bench for our kitchen island, and it’s easily one of the best decisions we made. We wanted a banquette that would both add comfort and storage, and he delivered: storage above, storage below, and a built-in trash pullout tucked seamlessly into the base.

The craftsmanship is excellent — every panel lines up, the finish matches our cabinetry perfectly, and it feels like it was always part of the kitchen. Travis was also just genuinely great to work with: responsive, thoughtful about the details, and clearly took pride in getting the proportions and function right.

We reached out to DeVine Woodworking with a complex custom request - to build a piece that would make use of the wasted space under our spiral staircase. We had visions of a bookcase, but Travis and Chelsea helped to expand our vision into a truly unique piece that is as beautiful as it is funcitonal.

The final product not only includes our original request of under-stair storage, but also a bench with storage where we can put on shoes before heading out the door, additional shelving on the reverse side, and a beautiful walnut wood slat wall that creates an aesthetically pleasing partition between spaces in our home.

DeVine Woodworking transformed our living room into a sophisticated space that has truly changed the joy we take in our home. From the very first meeting, Travis took our needs, taste, and vision to heart and closely collaborated with us to ensure his design didn’t just match, but elevated what we had in mind. We couldn’t recommend him more highly and we look forward to working with him again on more projects.
