“I'd like to give a shout out to Y&S Cleaners in Nyack. Gave them a beautiful antique lace baptism dress to see if they could make the lace white again. The dress was made from the lace of the child's great grandmothers wedding dress and passed down to each generation. They finished it quite quickly and it looked amazing. I generally avoid giving negative reviews as I feel constructive criticism should be positive in nature. I tried other dry cleaners for various things around the Rt 59 corridor and have not been satisfied until I found Y&S. I will be recommending this business to all my neighbors.“

I had an emergency when I couldn’t pick up my clothes on Saturday as scheduled, and of course, I had a wedding to attend on Sunday — but the store was closed. My wife started calling any number she could find, and miraculously, we reached an employee who was incredibly kind and understanding. Within minutes, he called us back and told us the owner would meet us at the store in 10–15 minutes.

“This place is absolutely fantastic. Today, I was feverishly looking for someone who can do same day alterations to a new suit that i needed for tomorrow. First off, their sewing machine was broken, so they called in a favor from a friend. Not sure if they borrowed a machine or if the friend did the work - but either way, they found a way to get it done. BUT it doesn't stop there.It was 10:30am and I had to leave for work by 1pm. They were not going to be done until around 4:30, giving me no shot at picking it up (and tomorrow is Sunday!) Seeing how much I was in need of getting this suit done and back, they offered to drop it off at my house for me! I don't know if this is a typical service they provide, but they knew I needed help and they were there. She said to me "I can tell you need some help, so we'll take care of you!" I had never met them before. Just cold called them off of Google. They are now my go-to cleaners. Give them a try if you are local. Class act. Genuine caring people.“

“I purchased a mom of the groom gown last minute for my son’s wedding and I wanted to alter it to a mermaid fit …tons of beading and tuul was not a problem ..the seamstress was amazing!!!!! I even panicked that the top of the gown showed too much of my chest and she was able to create more coverage from the hem pieces she cut …when my gown was finished you could not tell that the added coverage didn’t come on the dress!!! The kindness and patience shown to me was above and beyond ..not to mention the cost was very reasonable ! Both of my daughters had their bridesmaid dresses altered there as well and my daughter just dropped off her bridal shower dress!! If you need alterations done don’t hesitate to call this place!!“
