“This place is absolutely fantastic. Today, I was feverishly looking for someone who can do same day alterations to a new suit that i needed for tomorrow. First off, their sewing machine was broken, so they called in a favor from a friend. Not sure if they borrowed a machine or if the friend did the work - but either way, they found a way to get it done. BUT it doesn't stop there.It was 10:30am and I had to leave for work by 1pm. They were not going to be done until around 4:30, giving me no shot at picking it up (and tomorrow is Sunday!) Seeing how much I was in need of getting this suit done and back, they offered to drop it off at my house for me! I don't know if this is a typical service they provide, but they knew I needed help and they were there. She said to me "I can tell you need some help, so we'll take care of you!" I had never met them before. Just cold called them off of Google. They are now my go-to cleaners. Give them a try if you are local. Class act. Genuine caring people.“

“Gentle Touch is our go to for anything clothing related! My husband needed a few suit pants/jackets taken in. The owners knew exactly where to make the alterations and they came out perfectly. The suits fitted so much better and the stitching was flawless.I have had a few blouses to have dry cleaned. The owners noticed a cluster of small oil stains I had and took the time to clean it out. I honestly didn’t think they’d come out so I left it, but they were able to get it out.I also appreciate that they have organic dry cleaning. They press all of our items neatly and when I take out my clothing from the protectors, there isn’t a harsh chemical smell that some cleaners might leave behind.They’re also super accommodating if you’re in a rush.The owners have been running this place for a long time. “Sam and Ato are lovely humans and always do good work. When I ask them to use unscented laundry soap, they do, and never charge me. I have had rips, tears, holes and small alterations fixed and have always been very happy with the results, and grateful I don't have to do them since I am a terrible seamstress. They always pick up and drop off laundry free of charge (although they are a small outfit and I hope everyone is tipping them well, if they pick up and drop yours off too). I have been using their laundry and dry cleaning services for 12 years and I have never had a problem. I am grateful they are in the neighborhood.“

“I'd like to give a shout out to Y&S Cleaners in Nyack. Gave them a beautiful antique lace baptism dress to see if they could make the lace white again. The dress was made from the lace of the child's great grandmothers wedding dress and passed down to each generation. They finished it quite quickly and it looked amazing. I generally avoid giving negative reviews as I feel constructive criticism should be positive in nature. I tried other dry cleaners for various things around the Rt 59 corridor and have not been satisfied until I found Y&S. I will be recommending this business to all my neighbors.“
