Lagree lover here who visited this studio while in town. Clean, friendly staff, lots to love. Danielle was my instructor and she was knowledgeable and kind. Gave great cues and options to modify while saying that modifying is perfectly fine to do. Loved the inclusivity and kindness. Only minor gripe is the cost for a drop in class but it’s NYC. Loved my experience.
Love the studio and instructor. the work out is challenging , but effective.I am able to work out the muscle groups ,mostly core and obliques in a way other workouts are not able to. I hope the studio will consider to offer month to month membership.
I've been taking classes at SLT Tribeca for a year and love the workout for the slow, controlled movements. The transitions between positions can be quick, so listening to the instructor's cues is really important. SLT has helped me with balance, hamstring strength and core strength, even though I only take class once a week (twice if my schedule allows). I recommend newcomers start with the Essentials class. Took my husband today for his first class (Essentials) and he was dripping in sweat and surprised at the difficulty - even though I'd demonstrated some of the moves at home with sliders and showed him SLT videos online the night before so he would know what to expect.SLT has given me defined abs, notwithstanding the occasional pizza and Popeyes fried chicken sandwiches. I highly recommend the workout. My favorite instructors are Katrina (currently on leave) and Claudia.
